Jam Drops

Jam drops are super easy to make and a winner in our house every single time we make them. They can be made to any size to perfectly fit a lunchbox and you can choose any type of Jam for the Jam top.

Our two favourites are Strawberry and Blueberry. Yum!

Jam Drops

Ingredients

  • 250g Softened Butter

  • 1 cup Caster Sugar

  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract

  • 2 & 2/3 cups Plain Flour

  • 1 egg

  • Pinch of Salt

  • 3/4 cup of Jam

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 180C
  • Cream together butter and sugar with an electric beater
  • Add egg & vanilla extract and beat together until smooth
  • Add flour & salt to the bowl and fold in with a spatula until fully incorporated
  • Roll 1tbsp of dough into a ball. Press down with your thumb in the middle of the dough to create a well
  • Place onto a lined cookie tray leaving 3-5cm between each cookie. Fill each dent with Jam
  • Bake for 12 – 14 minutes and allow to cool completely before eating
